The resource center will permit access to on-site child-development information, which will be available to parents, caregivers, in-home providers, and teachers. The information may be obtained through various formats, such as books, videos, or hands-on instructions. Additionally, small group meetings will be conducted to answer questions, where questions are answered, mentor parents on how to work with their child/children, and provide information to in-home providers about incorporating the Montessori Method into their program. Interested individuals will be directed to training programs to supplement their learning.
Key Foundations' resource center gives access to parents, caregivers, and teachers in order to educate them about the Montessori Method, observe children in the classroom, and access videos on the Montessori materials. Integrating our program in a familiar setting allows an accessible link to investigate the Montessori Method. Bringing our programs into the community allows easy access to investigate the Montessori Method in familiar surroundings.
Our Montessori Preschool will be offered to children ages 3-6. The program is designed to allow children to be self-directed in their learning. Children will grow in self-confidence, independence, and critical thinking skills. In addition, strong emphasis will be placed on promoting social emotional and cognitive development.
Key Foundations provides unique opportunities to expose children to Montessori, utilizing creative avenues to partner with local educators and early childhood education centers. Partnering with local stakeholders will multiply the availability of our programs as we enrich available opportunities in early childhood education.
The summer lab is an opportunity for parents to enroll their child and experience the Montessori Method through a short program. Committing to a short-term program allows the parents to observe and see the experience without committing to a yearlong program. Making the summer lab available allows the parent and the child to see if the program will work for them.
