Key Foundations Montessori School has been an integral part of our daughter's academic and personal development since she was 3 years old. She is now a senior in high school with a 4.0 GPA and an interest in medical school. We credit Carolyn, the school director, and the entire Key Foundations staff for giving our daughter the foundation she needs to succeed in her academic and professional pursuits. I have known Carolyn Myer since 2019. She and I met because she was my children's kindergarten teacher in the Montessori School of Baton Rouge and became my mentor and supervising teacher for my Montessori early Childhood training. I had the great opportunity to work and co- teach with her! She provided guidance, support, and knowledge during our time together.

Not only I witnessed her passion to guide me as a Montessori teacher, but me and my husband had the experience of being guided and supported as parents with our own children. Many of the parents felt supported and understood during our kids’ years in the Montessori program.

My experience with the Montessori program came unexpectedly through an amazing teacher and friend, and I couldn't have been happier with the results. For a few years I watched my grandson struggle academically. I knew that he needed someone who understood his learning style, but I had no idea how to help him. While in a hair session with Carolyn, she offered to tutor him during the summer that year. She used the Montessori method to simply bring out of him what was already there. He loved his time with her and truly blossomed when school began that year. He did so well under her nurturing style and skill, that I now fondly recall that summer as the blossoming summer for Nasir. I am so grateful.

It has been a wonderful experience having Mrs. Carolyn teach Eric and Erielle. They have learned so many new concepts so quickly. She's very patient. It was a fun learning process for them. The hands-on activities kept them engaged and excited. Her teaching was excellent overall and has been a new  experience for my children and one that I would recommend.
